Tell me how much hearing will get better after I use the hearing aid?

It has been a long time since I last wore a hearing aid, but I clearly remember occasionally turning my aids up louder and feeling a "tickle" from the sounds coming in, which I would now guess was an indication that the input was too loud and reaching that pain threshold. Since I didn't like that "tickling" feeling, I would always adjust my aids lower, to a more comfortable level. In doing so, I averted damage.

Hearing aids make sounds louder and clearer, they don’t give you perfect hearing. They come in all sorts of different sizes and types, but they all work in a similar way. They have a microphone inbuilt in the hearing aid https://audiologyisland.com/ and this picks up the sound and converts it into an electrical signal. The signal is processed electronically and amplified, and then that signal is passed through a receiver and converted back into sounds for you to hear.
