The year of the Adidas Superstar Buy gets another contribution with this exotic makeover just for the ladies. The women's adidas Originals Superstar 80s gets both a metal shelltoe and pony hair upper, also detailed with reptile-textured leather for a unique and stylish look that adds to the year-long celebration of the iconic low-top hoops shoe.

What might look like a near-all black lifestyle rendition of the retro shoe of the moment, the Adidas Superstar Cheap is so much more. All-Star Weekend is always the most opportune time for a brand to champion new technology and give us a look at some of the more flashier choices in a brand's early year arsenal, and the new adidas XENO material fits right in under the bright lights and added attention the weekend gets. XENO manages to be reminiscent of 3M in how the fabric lights up under reflected light, only the look adapts by showcasing a rainbow array of colors.

While the 2014 FIFA World Cup is in the rearview, adidas doesn't seem to be quite done issuing lifestyle shoes tied up in their on-pitch offerings. Case in point is this scaly version of the Adidas Superstar Online, which carries a "Predator" nickname in reference to the boot line of the same name. So far we've only spotted them at the adidas UK store, but here's to hoping that they'll show up elsewhere.

Kanye West, Pharrell, Raf Simons, Nigo, Jeremy Scott, and others are all doing their best to reinvent the adidas catalog at the moment through their collaborations. But that doesn't mean that the brand has turned their back on the most beloved of their past silhouettes. Case in point is this Adidas Superstar for Sale that's on display here in a straight white/black palette with a little bit of gold for the tongue.

The Adidas Superstar Women's has been a cultural icon ever since Run DMC yelled our 'my adidas' 3 decades ago. The lifestyle tendencies of this model are as dense as ever, as just in the past year we've seen the classic shell-toe in a "Metal Toe" rendition and an atmos collaboration that gave us a glow in the dark snakeskin aesthetic. Now the serpent upper is back in this new "Tribal Blue Snake" pair. Going the texture route, the faux-skin cover gets a royal blue hue whole suede accents cap things off on the heel and three stripes to aid the off white on the shell toe, lining and midsole.
